The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests of Milan resident Kyle Coon and Germantown resident Jon Holt this week, who are facing charges in relation to a string of burglaries in the area between Sept. 22 and Sept. 27 last month. The arrests came on Sept. 4 following the police investigation.
Coon, who was already in the Dutchess County Jail for a probation violation, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of stolen property. Holt, who was taken into custody in Germantown, was charged with two felony counts of burglary, as well as three counts of criminal possession of stolen property.
The burglary charges for Holt were based out of the Town of Milan, while the other charges are related to incidents in Poughkeepsie. Following their arrests, Holt was released following his arraignment in Milan. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Poughkeepsie Court on Oct. 23 to be arraigned on charges there. Coon remains remanded to the Dutchess County Jail and is also scheduled for arraignment on Oct. 23.
